Has anyone had this as a serious problem? I’ve posted about it before, and it’s come back. Moving around, especially chores like bending and picking up things etc just put such a strain on my upper abdominal muscles, and they can ache all day. A support belt helps but doesn’t eradicate it. It feels really debilitating, I have 2 dc so can’t just stop doing stuff at 7m pregnant! I really only have minor pgp this time, I assume due to working from home and driving to do drop off so less walking/stroller pushing so don’t know why this stomach pain should be so strong. Interested if it’s common or anyone has any insights- I’m assuming it’s jsut weight of the belly but don’t know.

I had this in the last month, but just on one side. When I asked my consultant he said it was probably just my insides running out of room and the muscle getting strained.. sorry hooe yours is bearable. I found pressing on it and massaging would help somewhat

I’ve got my newborn now, the pain disappeared immediately post birth ( replaced by other pains Grin)

I had this at the end of mine. I used those warming bean bags to put at the top by my ribs as it was the only relief I felt.

I did that a couple of months ago, now I’m trying cool packs as I’m in aust so heat packs are just a bit much even in a cool summer!

I am 5 months pregnant and finding walking even just for 5 minutes very painful. I walked up a few steps outside my house and found even that was painful. has anyone else had this?
