What did you feel before going into labour?

I am 37+1 weeks and have been having BAD lightning crotch and aches in my lower stomach and back. I feel the need to poo () but nothing is happening. It's just a lot of pressure!

What did you feel before labour? I'm curious to know if this is it approaching!!

I’m 36+4 and experiencing the same symptoms as you @bethabean, was just about to post a new thread pretty much asking the same thing.

I've been having bad lightning crotch/continuous crotch pain for 2/3 weeks now. Also lots of pressure in my lower abdomen, intermittent stomach and back aches, tonnes of Braxton Hicks...

I'm term now and baby is still showing no sign of popping out. They just want to make my last few weeks uncomfortable!

I'm ramping up the natural induction methods, I'm ready to meet my baby!

The past hour and a half I've been having on and off pain in more of my upper stomach and lower back. This is also paired with feeling sick!!

I have a growth scan tomorrow so it'll be interesting to see how far down she is

Ooh it sounds like this were moving for you! Have you had any luck since you last posted? Is there any sign of baby?

My twinges seem to have slowed down but still feeling quite nauseous. I had what looked like part of my mucus plug come away but not enough to get excited about!

I’m just going to try hand expressing tonight and had a clary sage bath (absolutely grim!).

Well no baby yet but the last few days the pains have got more and more intense. Just dtd with DP and now having bad cramps all over my stomach, lower back and down my leg!

Some of your mucus plug is exciting though!

Oh wow I hadn't heard of having a clary sage bath. Was going to say I'll give it a go but maybe I'll give it a miss
