Anyone had omicron while 3rd trimester ? Partner tested positive 39 weeks pregnant

Lateral flow negative for me as of now , waiting on pcr but very worried.

I know four women who had covid in the third trimester and all were fine. They were all vaccinated though.

Are you vaccinated?

If not then and you’re negative then I’d move elsewhere

I tested positive yesterday on a lateral flow. Awaiting pcr results. Im currently 36 weeks, i feel like ive got a cold. Blocked nose, sore throat, cough and aches and pains. I feel a bit lousy but not to run down. Im just resting and getting plenty of fluids.

I'm vaccinated but not boosted - have headache, nausea but no cough..

If its more than 3 months since your last jab and your not boosted then I would seriously consider moving elsewhere for at least the next 4 or 5 nights when your partner is at their most infectious.

I would recommend you find out what the situation may be if you go into labour and either your partner or you are positive. Just as this situation has just happened to a friend and her partner was not able to join her so had her mother on standby.
Think her testing positive would have seriously altered her birth plans to, so as soon as partner tested positive he left the house to stay elsewhere.
Luckily everything worked out, as baby was late so dad put of isolation and she managed to avoid getting it.
But it's good to have all the information!
