Anyone with secondary infertility caused by a c-section? Or anyone who suspects this is the case?

Doctors don't seem to flag this as a risk but I've noticed a number of references online.

This is most relevant in the context of c-sections done in the "medically necessary" grey area.

You might have better luck in the conception board as the ladies here will have successfully gotten pregnant so are less likely to have the same issue I imagine

Hi. I've had a similar experience. TTC#2 for 5 years. Had my first via emergency c section. Had various fertility tests over the last few years, the most recent being a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. During this surgery they found lots of adhesions due to my previous section. They removed most of it but I was told this wouldn't necessarily have caused an issue and diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility. However, 3 months after that surgery I am now 6 weeks pregnant! It's still very early days and it may be a coincidence but after 5 years of not even a hint of a BFP, I think the adhesions were probably causing the problem.

Unfortunately surgical procedures to the womb can cause scarring or adhesions (Asherman’s syndrome).
you’ll only diagnosed it with hysteroscopy. Other tests will almost always be fine
most times when the scar tissue/adhesions are removed many people conceive.
