Bloating in early pregnancy

Hi all, I know this is such a basic question and I’m really sorry to ask, but I am SO BLOATED (8 weeks pregnant). I can’t wear jeans anymore, any waistband cuts into my stomach and I feel like I have a perpetual balloon instead of an abdomen. Does anyone have any tips for how to manage it? This, more than the nausea, is what is kicking my arse at the moment. Thanks in advance!

There's nothing you can really do about it, it's hormonal.

Totally normal. Then when the bloating goes, the bump starts showing up 😂 Just comfy clothes, not much we can do about it.

I was the same by 8 weeks with 2 of our singletons and our twins. Invest in maternity leggings because bump will come once the bloating passes.
You can try high fibre drinks like fybogel and drink lots of plain water.

Anyone have bloat come back again 3rd trimester with all hormones ?

I had this in my first pregnancy and now at 5+5 I seem to have it again, even worse than I remember! Though maybe the mountains of Christmas food I've been eating haven't helped...

Anyway, I just found that eating plenty of fibre and drinking lots to stay regular helped keep the gas from building up quite as much, and if it was sore on bed then changing positions would often ease it (and Aldo encourage some gas out...)
