I am huge. 36 weeks pregnant and going to socialise with loads of people at the in laws and really feel so uncomfortable and miserable. Can't sit down long enough without rib pain to eat Christmas dinner and I'm exhausted

No point to this post, just venting!

Draw an extra line on your lateral flow test? Haha!
Im feeling you. 35+ and gestational diabetes so I missed the bucks fizz at brunch and won't be having more than 1 or 2 chocolates later.
These babies better appreciate our sacrifices when they are older!

I completely hear you on the rib pain. I've also got terrible pain in my tmj so my jaw is throbbing.

I'm nearly full term so I'm just looking forward to getting this baby out of me!

My Christmas is going to consist of snacks, cake, mince pies, cheese and crackers and movies

I feel you! 39 weeks on Monday and just cooked the whole Christmas dinner from scratch with husband and mother "helping" (being useless). Back aches, pelvic pain, too hot and exhausted from not sleeping but everyone else seems to be having a good time!

Snap! 35 weeks pregnant here! We spent the day with my partners family and the PGP was off the charts - every single chair set off the pain.

It also didn’t help that I had a preaching from my partner’s 93 year old grandmother that everyone who’s taken the COVID jab has made a deal with the devil and how I wish I didn’t have this baby on the way 😅

Last Christmas I was 32 weeks with twins - made it quite clear lockdown or not there would be no travelling, no overnight visitors and no one outstaying their welcome 😂 - you've got to set your stall out in advance and stick to it!

Oh I'm so glad to see I'm not alone!

@Dextersmumhasgotitgoingon I cant believe you cooked the dinner from scratch yourself! I am very impressed as there is absolutely no chance I could make myself do thatGrin

It ended up being an okay day. Since I've been pregnant I don't have any shame in how much food I eat so I devoured the Christmas dinner at the in laws! Then went to my own families and another set of in laws so by the end of the day my body was in piecesSad

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a nice time with family and friends. X
