Salty taste and nausea

Hello, I am feeling nauseous and have a strong taste of salt in my mouth. I don't know if it could be pregnancy but was wondering if anyone else has had this. I have read that a salty taste can be a symptom in early pregnancy but thought I would ask on here. Thank you for reading xx

Have you tested?

Amberley90 · 21/12/2021 10:11

No, I haven't tested yet. I plan to soon.

No one can say if this is pregnancy related or not. From what I read a metallic taste could be a symptom of pregnancy but I've not heard of a salty taste.

From my own personal experience, I never had any signs of pregnancy until I was 6 weeks+.

Everyone's different so it might be a sign, or it might not (sorry I know that's not helpful)

That's alright, I have ready a salty taste can be instead of a metallic taste. I'm still not sure if it is a symptom in my case though xx

No one here can possibly tell you one way or another.
Neither can reading stuff (I assume Google).
You have to test to find out.
Good luck.

I have been reading other peoples experiences on other forums. I just thought that asking on here would be more useful as I could post how I feel.
