Hi just looking for a bit of advice I was cooking in the kitchen and accidentally left the cooker on walked back in five minutes later the whole place was covered in smoke one of my plastic kitchen tiles had fallen on to the ring! The smell was horrendous and it took me a good 15 minutes to get the smoke alarm to stop although I opened the door at stood there to get some air while waiting for it to go of. I was wondering if this cause harm to my baby I didn’t feel unwell I’m myself or anything I read online that smoke can be incredibly dangerous to a pregnant woman and could cause miscarriage so wasn’t sure if i should get checked out or anything I’m 8 weeks 5 days pregnant any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I did something similar when pregnant and left the lid of a tupperware box on the cooker and although there wasn't as much smoke as there was in your casw, the place stank! I also got attacked by a seagull and landed on my front on the way to my 20 week scan😭 And I'm holding my healthy 3 month old as I type! I wouldn't worry too much - I'm sure your baby is fine; it's not like you were chain smoking!❤️
