Clary sage oil

Has anyone used clary sage oil to try and bring on labour? My due date is the 17th and someone told me about putting a few drops in my bath to help bring labour on, has anyone else done this and it's worked? :)

It's not a pleasant smell from what I remember so you may want to sniff a tester before bathing in it! Very strong and apparently very effective, to be avoided earlier in pregnancy due to the effects it can have.
