Hi everyone,

I’m 19 weeks now and for the last few days I’ve had a really sore tummy feeling. It’s not all the time just on and off throughout the day. I’ve had back ache and a weird pressure in my bum this morning (sorry tmi) that has since gone. A lot of the tummy pains/discomfort have felt more like an upset stomach /digestive type tummy ache rather than cramping/pregnancy related but I haven’t actually got an upset stomach. Is any of this normal?

I have bad health anxiety and got myself worked up that i’m going into early labour or something and really scaring myself. I’ve got my 20 week scan on Friday and already dreading that tbh thinking something is going to be wrong. Was just looking for a bit of reassurance really 😔

Could you be constipated , it's very common in pregnancy.

Lady929 · 13/12/2021 09:15

@romdowa no I’m not constipated, I was in the first trimester but it’s all settled down now. I wish I was tbh as then I probably wouldn’t be as concerned. x

Could just be everything moving but if you are concerned then give your midwife a call.

I get this some days.. totally feel like gonna have upset stomach but dont... its probably baby position or hormones changing ...

Yes similar stuff for me at 25 weeks tummy can feel sore one day today pressure in bump and felt I needed to lie down as worried. I think there is so much moving and changing in there. All fine at the midwife appointment and listened to the heartbeat which was good. Hope your scan goes well!

@Somerandomgirl @Hotcrossbunsinbed @romdowa

Thank you all for your replies 😃 I definitely think it’s just hormones, everything moving etc and it hasn’t been as bad today. x
