Can't cope with this dry tounge

Anybody else suffered with a really try tounge it's awful I'm now 8 weeks been feeling like this since the start the easiest way to describe it is it feels like a cats tounge it's really dry not even a drink helps it please tell me someone else has suffered with this is it a pregnancy thing? I can't stick it no more 😩

I had it along with a nearly unquenchable thirst in my first pregnancy. Only thing that helped was roses lime cordial with sparkling water. On the downside, I drank so much of it I had near permanent heart burn.
