Did anything make you go into labour ?

Hello,

Getting very nervous as due this week and have previously been induced and really do not want to have to go through it again! Did anything help make you go into/ bring on labour?

Reflexology

TMI but sex and a big orgasm started the contractions off!

I swam the day before DD2 came and mowed the lawn the day before Dd1. Not a clue if it had anything to do with it but being active perhaps?

A curry and sex and waters went that night with DC1 - although had to have an induction in the end bc contractions didn’t start

DC2 was 41+6, I had a sweep 2 days before, used clarery sage in the bath for the last couple of days.

You don’t have to agree to the induction by the way - you can opt for monitoring if you want. If you feel good and you’re not high risk, there’s no reason to even consider an induction until at least a week over. (That came directly from my midwife last time)

A whole night of dancing then a lot of chilli in dinner.

Sex...both times!

TMI we had just dtd I walked to bathroom and by the time I walked back in I just said to my husband, don't panic but you need to put hospital bags in car, I had baby in my arms a few hours later! His exact response was FFS I was about to go to bed!

In my case I think it was the threat of the induction! Booked in at 10am, but they took one look at me trying to push down the wall of the waiting room and cancelled. DD arrived 7 hours later.

My first was induced at +13. Was also very nervous for dc2. Eventually born very quickly at +7.
Things that I did:
Sex
Sweeps. Had loads.

Super not wanting baby to be born on a certain date made me go into labour a week early, on said date 😂 luckily she was born after midnight though! Bahahaha!
