When did you see fetal pole?

Hey There,

I've posted a lot recently as I'm uber nervous for my 5th pregnancy (no babies yet).

My HCG levels are good at at over 9000 at 5 weeks 3 days and I had a scan at 5 weeks 4 days and we saw a sac and yolk sac all looking nice and measuring correctly.

I've seen online tho that people also see the fetal pole by now ... When did you see yours please? I'm getting rescanned on Friday and a bit nervous xx

Please don't worry you haven't seen it yet. I had a scan at 6w 5d and they could only see a gestational sac, not even a yolk sac, so i thought it wasn't a viable pregnancy for 10 days. Went back after that for the follow up scan and there was a baby measuring 8w 3d. Wishing you all the best for your pregnancy x

6 weeks exactly. Scanned due to previous ectopic to make sure it was in the right place. At 5+4 I wouldn't have expected it. Was surprised at 6 weeks to be honest and still not convinced it's grown since.

@Rachae thanks! Good luck to you! I'm pessimistic because I've had a number of losses this year. Also because my symptoms have been mild at best and are now truly non-existent at 8+5. I have a scan on Tuesday morning and am praying it isn't a missed miscarriage. Totally paranoid and anxious!

@deliwoman1 aww I'm sorry and I hear you on that. I'm onto my 5th pregnancy and praying this one sticks. It's so hard after miscarriages isn't it? I can't even go to the toilet without feeling scared to look down! Wishing you all the luck in the world for your scan xxx

Bumping this again as my 6 weeks 1 day scan is tonight and I'm soooo nervous 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had a scan today at 9 weeks. Baby measuring right for dates with a normal heartbeat.

My partner and I had convinced ourselves it was a silent miscarriage. Not so far! Just seems like I have a very chill baby in there who isn't causing me any symptoms. I'll take it as a blessing for now, until I start to get nervy again... lol.

I saw everything at 6+5 weeks via a private scan. Good luck for tonight @Rachae You have got this!! x

Thank you everyone... There was a baby and a heart beat!! Hurrah! Fingers crossed for my scan on Friday. I was worried as it measured 3,4mm so they put me at 5 weeks 4 days but I know I'm 6. But the scan 4 days ago only showed a yolk sac and start of fetal pole.. so surely this means it's growing ok 🤞 xx

Amazing news OP! Baby is just so tiny at this stage, you’ll find at 12 week scan baby is all caught up!
