38 weeks exactly and feeling uncomfortable baby moving loads tonight so sure nothing is happening but I feel really sick, I did eat a cake earlier but I’ve also had a headache last few days nothing severe just a background headache! I’ve been on my birthing ball past few nights and when I get up off it I have a few sharp niggly pains and pains asif I’m constipated which I kind of am but total lower back pain which comes and goes but tonight I just feel completely sick 🤒 anyone think things could be starting or have I maybe just eaten to much cake as usual!

Do check with midwife. Do you have swollen ankles? They may want to check your blood pressure and urine (as high blood pressure can cause headaches and pre-eclampsia). Of course it could be other stuff too - I’m 39wks and having pelvic pain, lots of kicking low down today, v uncomfortable.

@Namenic no swollen ankles fingers a little bit but nothing drastic and the headaches aren’t stopping me doing anything just sort of background headache as in I just know it’s there, it’s the feeling sick tonight like i say tho I’ve probably over ate! I’ve had no show nor nothing I just feel ‘different’ tonight.. and getting fed up so any ‘different’ feeling gets my hopes up!

Yes - I know what you mean. I’m desperate for mine to hurry up! I’ve been reading quite a few threads on MN about impatient mums like me. One said that some nausea had returned - and someone mentioned that a midwife had said that it can happen later on in pregnancy due to all the hormones. I hope your headache and nausea improves and you get some rest - but do ring the midwife if symptoms get worse. Good luck - hope baby comes soon!
