How did your morning sickness start?

I think my morning sickness has just started to kick in over the past week but I’m unsure. So I get waves of nausea a few times a day (random times) but they don’t last long, maybe 10 minutes at the very most.

Is this how your morning sickness started?

Yes, sounds about right. Could easily be mistaken for hunger sometimes - beige snack foods were the only things that made me feel better, I was nibbling on peanuts, crisps, babybels and oatcakes hourly. Luckily it only lasted a couple of weeks and was mostly in the afternoon/early evening.

Mine started at 8 weeks and lasted until I was about 20 weeks still being occasionally sick now at 31 weeks.

Some advice would be to stock up on beige foods you will need them also try to find out what your triggers are and try to get them as far away as possible, my triggers are a perfume I used to wear, coffee and this is going to sound daft eurovision songs! Think cause my sickness started when I was listening to eurovision songs and every time I listened again I was sick!! Ahh

Agree with the above. Mine now seems to be awful at night, weirdly fine in the morning then gets progressively worse and worse through the day

mine started at 5 weeks and was pretty horrendous all the way through. I couldn't tolerate smells. It started at 3pm in the last afternoon onwards and it's my first. The second i was sick all the time but it was a twin pregnancy. Couldn't have coffee all the way through.

I only had nausea, no sickness thank heavens, and has always been worst in the evenings. LOTS of burping, constant feeling of a burp brewing / hangover / car sickness. Gets worse if I leave too long between eating something or eating too much so I've had to adjust to snacking through the day and only having small meals. Started around 6 weeks.

6 wks til the end with all 3, I had hg x3 tho so I’m jealous of women who have ‘normal’ sickness or nausea! Congratulations!

Sorry to jump on this thread but I’m not sure if I’m having nausea or if it’s in my head as I’m just about to be 4 weeks!

I’m having that salivary mouth that you typically get just before throwing up. It’s not super obvious but there have been some times where I’ve had to take a moment to pause.

Is 4 weeks too early?!

I'm 5/6 weeks at the moment. It's happening again at the moment, also with heartburn.
Sorry @Firsttimetrier it's my first time too so I'm not really sure what to expect either!
