No morning sickness - 7 weeks

Hi all,

I've had absolutely no morning sickness at all (really don't want to speak too soon!) I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant.

Not really had any symptoms at all to be honest except just pelvic cramps and tiredness. Has anyone else experienced no morning sickness?

I felt dizzy and faint a few times later in my pregnancy (low iron, had to go on tablets) and occasionally nauseous - but nothing major.

Enjoy it!

LadyExpecting93 · 21/11/2021 00:14

Thanks @Cameleongirl so far so good for me! I've not even had changes to my breasts but I'll give it a couple of more weeks to see if anything changes.

Please just be grateful. I had very little morning sickness. My DD had a full 9 months of full on morning/day / sickness.
Congratulations on your pregnancy 💖

TurnUpTurnip · 21/11/2021 00:15

I never had it at all with any of my four children

MrsTumbletap · 21/11/2021 00:44

I didn't have any at all throughout. No nausea, no sickness, just a bit of tiredness and unbelievable heartburn at the end!!!

WeeM · 21/11/2021 00:48

I had no morning sickness at all... and if it hadn’t been for the fact I had to take a pregnancy test due to medication, I would never have known!

sarah13xx · 21/11/2021 00:49

I remember my friend said she was sooo sick from 7/8 weeks so when I got to 7 weeks I expected it to be awful. I didn’t feel nauseous at all though. Randomly around 9 weeks I’d say I woke up feeling hungry and just realised I was feeling a bit bokey (for want of a better term) 😂 From then on it got slowly worse and I’d be trying to walk past the bathroom in the morning but ending up having to dive in to be sick. I felt like it was partly mental as well as physical to try and deep breathe and talk yourself out of feeling sick 🙈 Mine only lasted 3 weeks though and was once or twice a day max! Don’t panic, I’m sure your time will come 🤪

bethabean · 21/11/2021 00:52

No morning sickness or nausea until now..at 31 weeks!

Runkle · 21/11/2021 00:52

None for me in 2 pregnancies and 1 of those was twins.

AlwaysLatte · 21/11/2021 00:59

I didn't have a single day's sickness with either of mine, so you may just be lucky!

RiverSkater · 21/11/2021 01:09

I had no morning sickness, no nausea and if it wasn't for the scans or the fact I was balooning little evidence I was actually pregnant. I do remember drinking a lot more water. This was both times.

Enjoy your pregnancy!

Evianontoast · 21/11/2021 03:57

I had basically no symptoms until about 10 weeks. So much so that I went for an early private scan at 8 weeks because I was convinced there was nothing there. I was actually pleased when I got (admittedly very mild) morning sickness because it suddenly felt real!

RedRobin100 · 21/11/2021 04:02

No I don’t get it at all either. 18 weeks into my second pregnancy.
No early symptoms either time - but dreading the potential onset of PGp/SPD and high I had last time

RedRobin100 · 21/11/2021 04:04

*which I had last time

lawandgin · 21/11/2021 08:21

I've not been sick once in pregnancy and I'm 16+6. Lots of nausea from 4 - 14 weeks but never actually sick!

gemgem31 · 21/11/2021 08:35

I've had no sickness through my pregnancy and I'm due on Tuesday with my first. Week 10 & 11 I was so tired all the time but other than that I've not really had any other symptoms

deliwoman1 · 21/11/2021 08:40

I'm 7+5 today and I don't really have it either. I get a bit gassy and queasy when I'm hungry and need to eat, but that's it, and it goes once I've eaten. Not sure if that counts as morning sickness but it is new for me. I can usually miss meals without feeling anything much.

crimblecrumbles · 21/11/2021 08:52

First pregnancy absolutely nothing. Second just a little nauseous if I had an empty stomach (which was rare!!).

mrscotton · 21/11/2021 08:54

Im 24 weeks now and not had any morning sickness. Have felt sick a handful of times through the weeks but have been very tired & even fainted at one point due to low blood pressure. My brother actually made me doubt i was pregnant at the beginning because i hadnt had any morning sickness.
I count myself very lucky as tiredness is easily dealt with and at least i can carry on working normally Smile

QueenLagertha · 21/11/2021 08:59

18 weeks here. No sickness whatsoever. Can't believe it as I had horrible all day nausea during my first pregnancy from approx 4-14 weeks.
Although I've had some indigestion starting this week.

cherrytree63 · 21/11/2021 09:02

I had no sickness with my first (boy)
I felt like I was dying with my 2nd, didn't vomit much but just felt really ill. At 7 weeks I had emergency surgery for an ectopic ruptured tube and it was then discovered that I had a twin. I experienced some on and off nausea until I gave birth to a healthy girl.

LadyExpecting93 · 21/11/2021 11:25

Thank you so much everyone. I'm hoping it will become more real for me. I get sickness sometimes on an empty stomach which I never use to suffer with and apart from that nothing.

With a previous pregnancy I had severe morning sickness in the early days but with this one absolutely nothing. I'll count myself lucky Smile

Ivd had to retake a couple of tests to make sure and always BFP Smile

Is it true if you don't have morning sickness (low level of hcg) you are likely having a boy? X
