Hi!
I had my 12 week scan on Wednesday, I am 12+2 according to LMP but at my scan the baby was measuring 12+6.
The consultant didn’t say anything about it and my due date hasn’t changed, but does it mean that I am 4 days further along than I thought or am I still 12+2 but the baby is just big?

Sorry if this is a stupid question 🤣

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would say it means the two dates are close enough that they've treated the scan as confirming the date that was calculated from LMP. If there was a big difference they would go by scan not LMP. Nothing to worry about!

You’re 12+6 weeks pregnant based on the growth of your baby. The dating scan’s purpose is to date your pregnancy as accurately as they can. LMP is not always accurate

I went in for my 12 week scan and I thought I was 12+4 but was measuring 12+4 It means your pregnancy is a few days ahead.

Very normal to have dates jump forwards or backwards by a few days. Nothing to worry about.
