Hi all, I unfortunately had a miscarriage at ten weeks on Tuesday, baby had stopped growing a few weeks ago. I took the tablets for medical management and passed everything (I thought) Tuesday night. Yesterday I passed what I think was the placenta but still having quite strong cramps. I fully expected the bleeding to continue, maybe for a few weeks but I did expect the cramps to have eased off by now. Is this normal?? Or should I call the epau

I had cramps for quite a few days but mine was a spontaneous miscarriage at 8 weeks. It kind of felt like a period. Ibuprofen & a hot water bottle really helped.
So sorry to hear about your miscarriage x

I miscarried naturally at 10 weeks. It started with period like cramps for a few days whilst spotting. Then when I started passing tissue and bleeding heavy i had excruciating cramps for 3 days and then for the next week or so I had what felt like bad period pains. I passed the sac on about day 8 when the bleeding became dark but I ended up retaining it for too long and it caused an infection. In my previous miscarriage at 7 weeks I only had bad period like cramps for about 8 or 9 days which gradually got better. I passed the sac on day 5 or 6 with that one.
