Help!! BFP but just finished period

I knew something wasn't right...
I have just finished my period, it was a pretty normal one for me, couple of days heavy etc but the spotting continued until this morning (CD9)
Took 2 ovulation tests, blaring positives...so took a FRER and BFP.

But it's not a dye stealer. It's a very clear BFP but I would expect it to be darker than the control on what I think is around 18-20 DPO. I have only had one cup of tea this morning too.

Doctors is out of apts for today so will have to wait until tomorrow. Scared it's ectopic maybe???

Shall I get a weeks indicator test to see what it says? What should it say if I am 5 weeks?

I've done another clear blue which now has gone up to 2-3 weeks but I've had a bit of spotting. Lying down for a min!

Quick update for anyone still following.
My levels have more than doubled in the 48 hours which is good. They are at around 900. I have to do another blood test on Tuesday and then another scan if they reach >1500

The saga continues unfortunately. Hospital was a bit of a shambles yesterday. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. Levels have increased again but only by about 50% this time, so waiting for another scan 😔

Ah sorry to hear that. Do you have any idea in when you'll have a scan?

Nope she said they would do an urgent appointment request, but then said I'd hear in 1 or 2 days....not that urgent then!! 🙈🙉 I'm hoping to hear from them this morning

My "urgent" appointment has been booked in for Friday so I'm going for a private scan this afternoon...

@madeinthe80z I have everything crossed that your scan on Wednesday went well 🥰I've had a very similar set of symptoms to you and my FRER looked very similar in strength!
I was wondering if you had an update or any news? My EPU have told me to just wait and take a test next week then phone them back Friday with an update before they do anything further 😬 I just know it's going to be the longest week ever!

Hi all,
Well just to close this out for future readers. This was finally diagnosed as ectopic by the EPU yesterday.
I have had medical management (injection) which will hopefully work and mean I don't need to have surgery.
At the private scan on Wednesday, she didn't see anything in my uterus and my lining wasn't thick enough to be sustaining a pregnancy so I knew at that point what was happening. I went in for another blood test on Thursday so that straight after my scan with the EPU on Friday, I knew we would be in a position to diagnose. The EPU scan told the same story and the pregnancy couldn't be located.
The doctors and nurses were lovely even though it was a very long day.
For anyone who's going through similar, I'd push for the 48 hour blood tests as this info really does help to diagnose earlier. I had 4 all together and they told the story.
