Hi all!

I’m 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant. No morning sickness as of yet. In my last pregnancy I had constant nausea and some sickness at the start (can’t remember when it started though). Fully prepared for me to get it again, but just wondering when did morning sickness start for you?

Never! People told me to feel lucky and I just wanted to feel pregnant. 38 was tomorrow :) don't read into symptoms too much, no two pregnancies are the same even for the same woman. All the best :)

6.5 weeks or so is when nausea has started with my pregnancies, peaking around 8-9 and then tailing off.

20viona · 29/10/2021 14:16

Never

Pumpkinstace · 29/10/2021 14:19

I had very severe HG in both pregnancies.

It started at 6weeks 3 days both times.

hiredandsqueak · 29/10/2021 14:19

I had morning sickness/hyperemesis with my boys but nothing with my girls. With my boys the earliest it started was the day before my missed period was due and the latest two days after. It lasted each time until the baby was born. Fingers crossed you don't get any sickness.

PinkMoon22 · 29/10/2021 14:22

7w and only lasted till 11w

Nat4392 · 29/10/2021 14:24

Started 6 weeks until 17 weeks

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 29/10/2021 14:28

with which pregnancy?😁

for me the earliest was with DS3 at 5 weeks, latest with DD around 7.5 weeks.
the others around 6 weeks, but with DS5 I was very sick the morning after the night before (so within 12 hours) and I just knew I was pregnant!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 29/10/2021 14:37

and it also lasted for various amounts of time and with various intensity.

DD was the easiest: 7w - 12 weeks, feeling sick wasn't as intense as with the boys and I was only physically sick twice.

DS3: constant nausea all the way through bar 1 month in the middle, I was throwing up for most of the pg, every day, several times a day and with DS5 & DS6 the morning sickness never stopped.
With all 3 I weighed less just before giving birth then when I found out I was pg! (all overdue, weighing 9lb 6 and twice 9lb 14)

DS1, DS2 & DS4: morning sickness & being sick stopped around 13-14 weeks.

I also had a MC at 11w+6 and had morning sickness from 6w till the end of pg.

Somerandomgirl · 29/10/2021 14:40

Before i even found out i was pg....

Around 5 weeks relentlessly up until about 23 weeks. Weeks 8-12 being especially bad. Some folk are super lucky and have no sickness at all. Hopefully that’s you !

@Mamacita191 in currently 6 weeks 4 days and I've not been sick. I've felt sick a few times but that's it.

This is my first pregnancy and I'm a little worried I've not been sick, but reading some people are not sick, so I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones. But also does make me worry.

Got my first early scan next week Thursday as I had IVF X

Myselfplusone · 31/10/2021 05:01

I have every symptom but morning sickness! I was really sick at the VERY start (2 weeks) but only lasted a week. My other pregnancy it was the duration and nearly got fed through a tube as I couldn't keep anything down. 'They' do say if you had it with your first you have a lower chance of getting it again. You're probably just lucky Grin

Tianna476 · 31/10/2021 05:21

Started at 6 weeks, ended bang into 12 weeks!!

Just as an aside, I saw a post on Instagram yesterday that suggested morning sickness should be called 'pregnancy sickness' as the term 'morning sickness' seems to make it seems just an small problem, but actually the sickness can be quite debilitating even if it's not HG.

expectinglittlebear · 01/11/2021 11:20

Around 7 weeks. Was really bad between weeks 8-11 and then started to settle down and the last time I was physically sick was in week 14/15 I think and then nausea finally settled down about week 16.

It is different for everyone though, and just because you got it in your last pregnancy doesn't necessarily mean you will get it this time around x

Ughmaybenot · 01/11/2021 11:31

Started at 5w 1d (causing me to do a test at 5w 2d!) and the constant vomiting didn’t stop again until about 30/31 weeks. It was a ride 😂

whoknew23 · 01/11/2021 11:32

All day nausea from 6-13 weeks

wombatspoopcubes · 01/11/2021 11:32

8-9 weeks

Pinklemonade16 · 01/11/2021 11:34

I’m 6 weeks today and started a few days ago for me. I usually suffer bad in my pregnancy’s and had hyper nemesis with dd2. Was horrific. I’m already wondering how I am going to do this. Currently feeling sick all day accompanied with headaches Sad

growingmybaby · 01/11/2021 17:01

6 weeks on the dot.. until 26 weeks on the dot 🥴

lililou · 01/11/2021 21:34

6w til about 16w. Was mostly constant nausea rather vomiting. Though some vomiting when it was as its worst.

Theawkwardblonde · 01/11/2021 21:43

6 weeks until about 30 🤢🤢 I'm 32 weeks now and thankfully only being sick a couple of times a week as opposed to all day. It's been absolutely brutal if I'm honest 😂

Quornflakegirl · 01/11/2021 21:51

Around 6 weeks and I was nauseous each morning and once or twice sick every single day until I gave birth! It was pretty grim.
