Hello,
I found out on Monday I'm pregnant 5+4 now, contacted gp and they text me a link to a site called 'my pregnancy notes'.
I was told to sign up and someone will contact me, it doesn't say when they will contact me or how I can contact them or any information really.
Just wondering if anyone else has been told to use 'my pregnancy notes' and what happens next.
Is it just a case of waiting? Really I'd like to speak to someone as it's 11years since I last had a baby and it's all changed since then and I've changed areas too.
I also have questions regarding my job, I'm a joiner/paint sprayer so would like to find out what I should/shouldn't be doing at work as there are no other females here and never have been so I don't think they even have a maternity plan in place

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm afraid I don't have any experience of that system - but just from a work point of view it sounds like your employer will need to organise an occupational health assessment

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure weather to tell them now or wait till I've had a scan and know everything is ok! I have to go on the roof and climb up ladders, which I know I'm capable of but there is an added risk now. Also the over spray and chemicals I use when spraying could also be a risk

I understand wanting to wait, but if your job is potentially risky then you should tell them soon as they will need to do a risk assessment. It's not worth putting yourself at risk and it will be weeks yet until the riskiest trimester is over.

@GinnyBee I'll have a word with my boss tomorrow, just don't want to tell anyone incase anything goes wrong then I have to tell them that too.
