Just wondering for a new born how much would you spend per week on formula milk

I think a box would last longer than a week, and each box is £9-£13 (roughly, it's been a couple of years since I bought formula!)

When DS was on formula (3 years ago) I would go through a £9 tub in 6 days, that was when he was a few months old.

The way we did it was we put aside our child benefit (about £80) every month and used that pot for formula, that way we would never run out of cash for it (we are poor Grin) but it is a big expense.

My son is six months old and we buy two boxes a week. At £11 each.

From newborn it was one a week as only a small amount each feed 2-3 ounces. Once he was on 4-5 ounces it was 3 every 2 weeks

My baby is 5.5 weeks old and we go through a tin every week and a bit at £10 a tin. He has 4oz per feed at the moment.

Around one pack a week roughly. We use Hipp Organic which is £10.50. Depending on brand you’ll be looking at between around £8/9-£15+
Now she’s upping her milk though we are going through it in less than a week. Like PP said, child benefit is a godsend just for formula.

For a newborn I’d say about a tub a week. I used cow and gate which was about £8 last time I bought it a couple of years ago. The most we ever got through was about a tub and a half a week by the time the baby was 6 months and starting food, and after that reduced the amount they were drinking.

We use Aptimal organic atm for our 4 month old. It costs £12 a tub in Sainsburys or £13.50 in Tesco. One tub lasts us more than a week, but I breastfeed at night so not exclusively formula feeding.
We also use the ready to drink bottles sometimes when we’re heading out. A four pack costs about £2.50 in supermarkets, and a 12 pack costs about £12ish from Amazon (if you buy it from Aptamil and not a 3rd party seller).

Was with first 20+ for the liquid aptamil a week

Not much as a newborn but easily over £80/month a few months in, and that was a few years ago so probably more like £90 now.
