Pregnancy and vertical c-sections, laparotomy or other scars

I realise this is a long shot, but was wondering if anyone else out there has/is experiencing pregnancy after a laparotomy or vertical c-section?

So my scar is about 15 years old and from a laparotomy. It goes from just below the navel ALL the way down. But I'm guessing it's probably not a million miles away from a vertical c-section... just a bit longer.

So I already know I'll have to have a c-section and I assume it'll be vertical to follow the scar. I was just wondering, if you have a vertical scar, what it was like when it started stretching as the bump grows etc, or if you have any other insights?

Are vertical c-sections any different really?
