Gender reveal- what to take?

A work colleague has invited me to her gender reveal party. I've never been to one and not sure what is the norm? Do I take a baby gift, a card, or just a bunch of flowers? Any thoughts appreciated.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You just show up!
Flowers would be lovely if anything

LittleBearPad · 08/10/2021 20:42

Flowers maybe. Anything else would be premature

You could point out that gender has nothing to do with biology?

TuftyMarmoset · 08/10/2021 20:48

I don't think I'd take anything. The concept is a bit strange - scans aren't always right!

Dalooah · 08/10/2021 20:49

I'd take something. Isn't a gender reveal party similar/instead of a more traditional baby shower?

A nice bottle of non alcoholic fizzy wine?

WheelieBinPrincess · 08/10/2021 20:55

I would take some alcohol for myself.

I'd take a little gift for your colleague... Candle/moisturiser/face mask or something
