I would love to hear positive stories as was not expecting to find myself pregnant aged 42, we have one teen and one 11 year old and I am so nervous of telling them but they are just lovely and I think will be delighted. Our family felt so perfect and had reached an easier stage so it makes me so nervous; I do remember a friend in a similar boat and how completely thrilled they ended up being when their 3rd actually arrived. She’s a real joy to them. Do older dc always adapt?
I am also concerned maternal age can affect a healthy outcome and still haven’t heard back on a first scan and am guessing must be about 9 or 10 weeks now.
I’m much thirstier than normal and more tired! And paranoid I look bigger yet don’t want to tell anyone until know baby is safe .
