Lines not getting any darker - any advice?!

I’ve been testing since 10dpo (early I know!) but I had a chemical pregnancy back in July and am worried the same thing is happening again! The top test is from 10dpo, the middle 11dpo and then the bottom from today at 13dpo - I’m just concerned they should be darker by now! Has anyone had any similar experiences and it turned out ok?! Thank you!

My lines were always like this and I've now a 4 year old I wouldn't worry about the colour of lines a line is a positive faint or dark xx

@bluepurplepinkyellow thank you! That’s reassuring … I’m holding on to the fact that with my chemical the lines were so faint (had to squint to see them!) hopefully this progresses ok … I might leave it a few more days until I test again x

I would say your 10dpo line and your 13 dpo line are definitely different. They are getting darker! Wait like 3 days and test again if you are still worried but there is definitely progress from the tests. Those are brilliant positives also.

Congratulations ❤️

They look fine to me. Day 13 is definitely darker than day 10, and it's still quite early to be testing really. Fingers crossed for you, but it looks good so far :)

Thank you! I hope so! It took us 4 years to have our daughter, and with the chemical a couple of months ago I’m trying not to get my hopes up. Fingers crossed xx

They’re all positive so why the anxious testing?

User0ne · 19/09/2021 19:58

Congratulations on your pregnancy 💖

I know it's difficult; I had a MC before dc1.

You will eat yourself up in this pregnancy if you can't find a way to let it go.

There's nothing you can do to stop/prevent an early MC so maybe stop testing. What will be will be

Thanks @User0ne - I appreciate the comment! I know I need to try and let go of the prior fertility issues / chemical pregnancy - just so hard when you are used to things not working out! Testing is definitely making me anxious - so I think I’ll have a break from it! Sorry to hear about your MC too x

@BeeDavis purely just because of previous fertility issues / and early MC … hard to forget! But I do think I probably need to take a break from the testing - it’s not doing me any favours!

Easier said than done, I know, but try to trust that nothing has happened until something happens. You're pregnant now and unless you get bleeding and cramps just assume you're still pregnant.

Just posting because I know I always wonder what happens on these kind of posts! Unfortunately at just under 5 weeks I started bleeding … so have had another chemical / early miscarriage 😢 if anyone else has been through similar would love some positive stories please! 🙏🏻 I’m hoping that it’s just very bad luck x
