5 weeks 5 days and spotting

Hi ladies,
I'm around 5 weeks 5 days pregnant today. On Sunday I started spotting and it still happening today. I saw the doctor yesterday who said he wasn't concerned as its brown and pink spotting.
I have an an appointment with the midwife tomorrow and wondered if may be worth pushing for an early scan due to the spotting. I've had a miscarriage before so it's making me feel slightly anxious and worried.
Has anyone had similar and everything been fine?

Definitely talk to the midwife tomorrow and suggest pushing through an early scan. In a previous pregnancy, I had spotting in week 5 for about 5 days and managed to get an early scan through the GP. All was fine, so it felt very reassuring.

Then around week 10 of the same pregnancy, I had spotting again for over a week and abdominal pains so pushed through another early scan and found out that I had a missed miscarriage. In the future, my policy is any type of bleeding at all, try to push through an early scan to make myself feel reassured.

As it's only been three days for you and the doctor says he's not concerned, I'd speak to the midwife tomorrow, wait a few more days and hopefully the spotting will stop and there will be nothing to worry about. If it doesn't stop, I'd push through a scan. My fingers are crossed for you!
