i am 33 weeks with my second baby and we think he is still breech . i haven't had a midwife appointment since 28 weeks and will see her next week but i'm a bit concerned! i know there is loads of time but baby is on the bigger side and worried they'll be no room to flip round? any advice?? Smile

Mine turned breech at 36 weeks, and then back by 37. It happens a lot with subsequent pregnancies so I don't think there is anything to be concerned about at this stage. There's plenty of time! If the baby is still breech at 36 weeks you can get Moxi from an accupuncturist which has a 60% success rate of turning them back, and there are other, more invasive, approaches the NHS will offer you too.

thankyou didn't know about that! it's just worrying as my first was down and engaged by 31 weeks! i'd rather avoid the invasive stuff if possibleBlush

Have a look on the spinning babies and see if you can book in to see a chiropractor and an acupuncturist. An acupuncturist can sort you out with moxibustion if you’re suitable. Other things that can help are going and doing handstands in a swimming pool. But the spinning babies stuff is brilliant and should really help if baby is going to move.

At 33 weeks mine went head down, breech and back to head down over a weekend. (Had to be admitted for hospital for a totally unrelated reason and had a few scans so the position changes were 100% confirmed)

She was head down when born at 41 weeks!

Mine was breech from 28 weeks. I had a scan booked for last Wednesday at 37 weeks to confirm breech but could not attend as I have covid. I actually ended up in pau for some crazy movements and was scanned whilst there as the midwife and doctor were both convinced she was transverse. Scan showed her head down..
Have another tomorrow to confirm.

Try to be patient as you have a fair few weeks for baby to turn yet. They won’t book a scan or anything else until 36 weeks. To keep baby high & free there are exercises you can do - google them but they mostly involve being with your butt in the air and your face in the floor for long periods of time! Effectively harnessing gravity to keep baby higher and able to turn.
