I've had this since 28 weeks, lower numbers than yours. I've just been having growth scans every 2 weeks and am now at 33 weeks. They'll just keep baby in for as long as possible and if fluids drop to an unacceptable level they'll whip baby out early.. Is baby's growth ok? My LO is on the 3rd percentile at the moment and they've not discussed inducing me yet so don't worry too much!

I had this diagnosed at 30 weeks and had weekly scans until they decided he needed to come out at 36+2. C section because he was also breech. He had a bit of trouble breathing for a couple of days because of the hurried delivery. He is now a healthy 7 year old who still doesn't like to be rushed! I was closely monitored in my 2nd pregnancy but had no problems that time

Your numbers sound pretty normal? Amniotic fluid index under 5cm, or deepest vertical pocket of under 2cm, would usually be cutoffs for diagnosis. Below those cutoffs, Overall things would depend on how baby is growing and what else is going on - but most often the outcome will be completely normal. If you’re scared, or don’t feel things have been explained, then you should contact your midwife to discuss things.

Theyre within normal perimeters.
I had a scan last Wednesday at 35+6 my waters gone from 5.6 to 2.3 and they still aren't concerned. Much to my distress 🙄 I'll just get another scan at 39 weeks and go from there.
Just make sure you keep an eye on movements and if anything changes go get checked.
Did they carry out a rom swab?
