Has anyone had a 4d scan with an anterior placenta, just wondering if this will make the scan difficult.. or if there’s a best time to book in due to an anterior placenta. Thanks in advance ladies ♥️

I had one with my anterior placenta at 28 weeks and it was really clear. I think 24-32 weeks is the advised window, with around 28 weeks being optimum. I don’t think placenta position makes too much of a difference when it comes to 4d scans as long as you don’t wait too long for baby to get too big and it’d be less clear.

I had booked in for a 4d scan at 29 weeks had to postpone it for a week due to partners work commitments clashing. Ended up going 30wk2days and was very clear got some great pictures and was definitely worth every penny. I have anterior placenta too and didn’t seem to be a problem got some great pictures before he decided to start hiding towards the end
