Is it safe to use a hot water bottle

Hi all. I am about 4 to 5 weeks pregnant and keep getting mild uncomfortable cramping mainly at night it feels worse. A like warm hot water bottle is the only thing that helps and allows me to sleep. Is this safe do you know? Also I am assuming mild period like pain and cramps is normal in early pregnancy? This is my first pregnancy. Thanks all for any advice.

It's fine, cuddle up to your hot water bottle as much as you like. Best of luck!

Yes it's fine Smile I had such bad cramps and pain in the early weeks and I was never without my hot water bottle!! It was worrying but everything was OK - DS is 5 months old now.
