Snoo on sale - reviews/experience please

I've been looking at getting the snoo for baby due start of December & just seen it is on sale this weekend 30% off

Wondering if anyone has bought/used & whether you felt it was worth money etc

I’ve gone backwards and forwards on this so much!

I love the idea. We used to have one at a nursery I worked at, and half the babies loved it. The other half didn’t tolerate it at all, but it was worth it for the ones that did!

I thought we’d probably give it a go… but my Trust no longer recommends swaddling, and I don’t think you can use the Snoo without swaddling for safety reasons, so we’ve held off so far… but 30% off is tempting!

My friends baby hated hers, she didn’t like being swaddled or the movement, so she sold hers on Facebook marketplace for half price - it’s worth checking there too if you’d be okay with second hand.

I have one, DS is a much better sleeper than DD was so far (5weeks) and it doesn't really make a huge difference. We've used it to jiggle him to sleep like we did for DD in the bouncer - bouncer sleep is not safe sleep, didn't realise at the time and she slept in it in the day a lot and in the witching hour one of us constantly had to bouncer the bouncer this is why I liked the idea of the Snoo. DP has used it to settle DS in the night when he didn't want feeding which is useful but not a huge game changer and certainly not worth the huge price tag, I got ours super super cheap second hand.

We don't really swaddle like you're supposed to, we leave his arms out all the time and he doesn't really ever jerk himself awake so I didn't want something else to wean off. Not sure DS is going to fit for that long as he's quite big, DD would have fit forever
