I posted yesterday about my blood levels and I had my repeat today, sunday they was 526 and today they are 1300 so i thought amazing we can rule out ectopic (scan on sunday didnt show anything) but the doctor told me that I need to go for follow up scan tomorrow to rule out PUL. But i really dont understand how they couldnt see anything on sunday but may tomorrow which is only 3 days difference? I'm worried they will say it is PUL even though they surely wont see anything? Has anyone had this or could give any kind of advice? Thank you

Hi there sorry your going through this. I have a pul last year, so I understand how hard it can be not knowing. The hgc results are doubling so that's a good sign. Also the difference a few days can make in a scan this is mine from my current pregnancy I have left the dates in 2 days apart and so much had changed. At 5+3 and 5+5. Fingers crossed everything goes well tomorrow. Thanks

Do you mind me asking what was the reason for getting bloods done in the first place? They can start to see something on a scan when hcg is at a certain level (can't remember what that is) but it sounds like you are quite early on so I'm surprised they haven't asked you to wait a week or so. Fingers crossed for you

As you're in the early stages things change rapidly. And it sounds like they want your HCG levels above 1500, which is when you should be able to see the pregnancy sac. However that can take a little longer as well. It's great that they're monitoring your levels, and fingers crossed they will be able to see what they need and it's in the right spot.
Best of luck, fingers crossed it all goes well for you x

Thank you that actually gives me hope that they may see something and wont just assume PUL. I've had 5 losses in total one being an ectopic and just dont want to rush any decisions without waiting a little. Congratulations 😊

@Chica1990 no not at all, I've had 5 losses in total and one being ectopic that ruptured and I had to have right tube removed. I was experiencing similar pain but on my left side this time but they did say it may be due to the cysts on my ovaries. I was surprised too as I thought we was just making sure it wasnt ectopic. I'm max 5 weeks so when the doctor said to come back tomorrow for a scan I thought what really was the point? Thank you for your reply though x

@ThinkingOfPineapples Yes I'm hoping things go to plan my biggest worry is the doctor said after scan we will discuss options and sounded very negative. I'm hoping I will still be able to say can I wait a week and see what happens just in case

Just an update incase anyone is looking later on, I had the scan and they originally thought it was the same but then I spoke with doctors and a comparison was made and they could see a sac. I'm to go back next tuesday for follow up scan but for now is good news 😊
