Hi all. I am currently 29 weeks pregnant and am due to have an elective c section due to previous health complications and the placenta still laying low on my cervix. I just wondered how far along were you when a date was provided to you (ideally at Hinchingbrooke) for an elective c section. I’m due to speak to the Obestrics team again tomorrow so will discuss with them further then, but just wondered if anyone knew roughly in the meantime. Thanks x

Not in your trust, but I had my final consultant appoint at 34 weeks and she booked me in there and then for my c section.

I was booked in for 37+4.

Hi @Rose28j i had a planned section booked at Hinchingbrooke for 17th of April. The other dates offered were 13th and 20th so that suggests it’s Mondays or Thursdays at the moment. Had an emergency at 36+6 in the end so not the planned as expected but hope that helps! I got my date Around 35 weeks but I’ve heard them booking them sooner but they strikes have made it difficult. Good luck X
