39+1 symptom spotting anyone?

Anyone want to join this wait with me and symptom spot for labour signs? This is my first baby and I’m so ready for him to make his arrival! Any tips for making it start sooner? Just a bit of fun 😋

Have a sweep booked for tommorow will be 39+2 anyone had a successful sweep first time before 40 weeks?

Hi @Shannondd3108 I am 40 weeks today and trying to get this baby out too!

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve tried a few things but to no avail - I think baby will just come when he is ready but I am a first time mum too and just doing these things makes me feel better even if I know deep down they don’t really work!

Today I have bounced on my ball, been for a walk, had some reflexology, and have bought a pineapple - although not eaten it yet! They say you’d have to eat loads to actually have an effect but I like pineapple anyway so will have some a bit later.

Hope your sweep goes well tomorrow, I have one booked for Monday so will be 40+5 (although secretly hoping I will have had a baby by then!)

The wait is driving me insane every little twinge I think it’s happening which is keeping me up at nights 😩 @Lemongrass9 🤞🏻 It happens for us both soon

I am definitely not a fan of the wait @Shannondd3108 but weirdly, now it’s my due date I feel a bit more calm, not sure why.

Been having tightenings every 5 mins or so for about 6 hours now but they aren’t painful at all so I don’t think they mean anything.
