Is it normal to not be constipated during early pregnancy ?

Hi,

I'm 6+4 weeks pregnant. I had some constipation very early on, when I got my BFP. But it has eased thereafter. My bowel movements are now smooth and it's the first thing in the morning. I also don't have any other symptoms other than slightly sore boobs and nasal congestion. I have an early reassurance scan tomorrow, but just can't keep worrying the hell out of myself. Please tell me its normal or if you were in the same position and everything turned out fine.

I had an MMC last year, the anxiety is unbelievable.

I’ve never been constipated. I’m 23+3 and have had basically no symptoms so far - no sore boobs, no congestion, no morning sickness, nothing. Baby is fine.

I hope all goes well tomorrow Flowers

@TakeYourFinalPosition : Ah, thank you so much. Hope you have a healthy rest of the pregnancy. So glad to hear I'm not the only one. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. The time is moving at snails pace :)

I’ve not been constipated in pregnancy either. I’m 24 weeks with my second.

All the best with your scan tomorrow!

3 children and never suffered a single day of constipation.

@Grasshopper90 @Neverrains Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Happy to report back my scan went good today and we could see little heart beating away ❤ I'm 6w4d now and the lady said too that I might be one of those lucky symptomless ones.

It’s normal, not everyone has every pregnancy symptom. My digestion was a bit off for a couple weeks in first trimester, but I’ve been very “regular” for awhile now. It’s a good thing!

@ChaiTRex : Glad to know I'm not alone. Yes, it's a good thing I am not suffering from constipation, but when other symptoms were missing too, that's when I was worried. But relieved to see a hb on an early scan yesterday and I have had little waves of nausea a couple of days, so think the symptoms are gonna now kick start for me.
