35 weeks with my second baby. Have had hyperemesis this time and have needed ondansetron so have been really constipated but that’s been under control for months. I’ve had a varicose vein on my vulva for a while which has been painful but the past 4/5 days I’ve been unable to poo, I’ve tried suppositories and they aren’t shifting anything and I when I do try to poo I can’t feel anything. It’s as though it just pops out when it does come out. I’m unable to push the poo out? I’ve just squatted over a mirror and it’s a mess down there. Veins all over not sure if it’s piles or a prolapse but when I’ve had problems with piles before it’s been itchy this isn’t itchy at all and it just feels as though there’s a ring around my bum hole? Sorry so much tmi but I’m so desperate if anyone has any information or anything!!

Go to your doctor, please, and quickly !
I have had piles which were not itchy, , some years ago, and now have an anal prolapse ( diagnosed as such) which I have had to leave untreated as DH has been extremely ill for over a year. It is a bright red, slightly damp all the time and makes it necessary to get to the loo very quickly when I feel I need to go. Have been able to manage with panty liners, but is not nice, as there can be small amount of liquid seepage. I could go on .... Seriously, yours sounds much worse, do get proper advice.

Omg the slightly damp! Yes! I’ve woken up the past two nights thinking my waters have gone coz I’ve been damp. I’m currently covid positive hospital has been amazing and said they still want to see me if I’m worried about baby at all but I guess this will have to wait til I’ve finished isolating. I’m really worried to go into labour and have this baby and if it is a prolapse I’m scared I’ll be in even more of a mess after it I’m only 26. Thank you for your words!! Xx

Please ,don’t take my words as a diagnosis, you may have haemorrhoids , which can be bad in late pregnancy , it’s just your description rang a bell with my experience
Sincere good luck with the baby and your talk to doc re the problem .

Are you sure that the constipation is under control? It sounds to me like it might be piles plus a faecal impaction. This would explain the seepage. Please don’t panic but do seek help so that you can get the help you need.

Hello. Definitely make an appointment to see your GP, but it is more likely to be a prolapsing haemorrhoid than rectal prolapse. I had similar after giving birth. It's terrifying at the time, but actually really easy to fix with banding. Just get it checked ASAP.
