Chance it can be a girl???

Hi all. This is my scan at 12 weeks and 4days. I have been told sooo many times the nub looks boy... but is there ANY chance it might not be the nub and it can still be a girl? Someone even said it looks 'forked' so it's a girl. Compared to my boys I feel different and even carrying different. Desperate for a girl.. already have two boys. Thank you

Nub isn't 100% accurate so could be a girl! It does look like a boy to me though.

No idea about nubs but the skull really looks like a boy to me!

In the nicest way possible, I’d maybe stop asking people for their anecdotal opinions as it’ll drive you mad. Everyone is purely guessing🙂

I added my 12 week scan picture and got told by everyone that commented that the skull looked like a boy (the angle was wrong for nub). At both 15 week gender scan and 20 week anomaly scan I was told baby is a girl

I posted my 12 week scan pic and every single poster said it was a boy, about 20 replies. Shes a girl. But noone can really know and you will drive yourself nuts, if you're desperate for a girl I would try your best to convince yourself it's a boy and get your head round that in case you're disappointed

Just to say - your name is very clearly visible at the top of the picture, so you might want Mumsnet to remove the post?

No it doesn't matter either way, as long as he's healthy I'll be grateful. I have two beautiful healthy boys so another one would be lovely. I would just like to have a girl as this is my last pregnancy

I quite agree with you! I've been driving myself mad about it - I just need to chill lol. I find out this Friday anyway 😊

That's lovely congratulations. Yes that's what I've been doing - I've got two other boys anyway so they will grow up to be great friends im sure ☺️

Ooh to be honest I didn't even think of that🙈 silly me. I've not long started using Mumsnet so I'm still learning how to use everything. I've only just figured out how to reply to everyone lol!
