Is this a positive pregnancy test or evaporation line?

I came off the birth control pill 3 weeks ago after years of ovarian issues (cysts and a tumour), due to everything looking all clear. I don't expect to get pregnant quickly because my bf has a very low sperm count but he did get me pregnant once before!

I've been going through a few days of "on and off bleeding", fluttering sensations, lower pack pain, weird tingles in my arms and legs, plus a very prominent blue vein has appeared across my breast, which I've never had before. The bleeding seems heavier than what people describe in implantation but it's lighter than my normal period and withdrawal bleed on the pill.

I did a test yesterday and there was a grey line. I put it down to evaporation. I did another today and the line has a pink tinge to it.

What do you all think? I know I need to keep testing but I'm curious! I don't know if my eyes are deceiving me here...

Is this a positive pregnancy test or evaporation line?

I can see it but i can’t see whether it has any colour to it. Have you tried any other brand? Fingers crossed you get the result you want x

GemmaRuby · 21/08/2021 11:08

I’m sorry but I can’t see anything. Keep testing and good luck

Both tests from same pack? Could be an issue with evap lines. I can see something but not sure if pink. I would get a brand new test today and test tomorrow with first wee of the day. Maybe a digital although they are less sensitive.

RMai · 21/08/2021 11:18

Yes, it's the same brand and they're very sensitive 10 mIU/mL. The 25 mIU/mL is showing nothing, not even an evaporation line but it's a different brand.

The photo shows it as grey but it's pink to the eye. My bf has thought I'm crazy with all of this but today, he sees it with the naked eye, and not so much in the photo.

Yeah, the Clearblue digital is 10 mIU/mL as well but VERY expensive here! I'll buy one anyway.

I’ve taken your photo and turned it negative. I would say that’s a positive but best to check with a clear blue or first response

Cranberriez · 21/08/2021 11:28

I can’t see very clearly OP I’m sorry x

Another photo. It's definitely pink to the eye but the photos aren't that clear. I think I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow. I'm not overly emotional about it since it wasn't planned, but at the same time, if I get a stronger line tomorrow, I'm gonna focus into that energy and be grateful for whatever is coming!

Hey @Soph30 - how did you do that? That's so cool. I wonder if I can do that with the original test rather than the photo i.e. take a photo of it in 'negative' form.

@RMai it’s a free app called negative me. I think there’s definitely a line on both x

Thank you! I contacted my gynaecologist and he said I could be. I've to go in on Monday for a blood test. xx

I can see a second line, but I almost always can. Fingers cross for you, I hope you get the result that you want.
