28+5 scan of babies face

Midwife thought baby was measuring small but went for a scan and everything is fine, was given this picture of his face at the end and the more I look at it the more I'm trying to convince myself it looks normal? They didn't seem concerned at all but I can't help worrying. Pleaseeee tell me you've seen similar or know this normal?

If something was wrong they’d tell you. Don’t worry. On one of my 20 week pics the eye looked like a fish eye, so creepy!

I had scan pictures where my baby looked like a gorilla and another where they looked like a shark. I can assure you they are a perfectly normal looking child now 🤣

All scans of babies faces look like the scream mask/Skeletor. Don't worry.

It's a scan not a photograph, as mentioned they would've told you if anything was wrong.

on one of my scan photos with my ds he looks like darth vader. I wouldn't worry.

I had a scan pic that looked quite scary and very skeletal. If something wasn’t right they’d definitely say. Don’t worry x

3D scans are all terrifying, don’t worry.

I got a photo at the 20 week scan showing baby's face. It was so freaky I "accidentally" lost it.

Hi OP because the scans are essentially 2D slices, it looks like the scan has caught your baby's nasal bone - it looks totally normal! Don't worry. Today at my 20 week scan he looked bloody terrifying 😂

OP, your little one looks fine to me. Mine looked not dissimilar but since it was just a moment or two on the screen I just kind of accepted it. If I’d had it printed out to take away I’d probably have fretted too!

OP, our midwife from the private scanning place has been a godsend and she recommended no scans after 24 weeks as baby is too big and appears squashed / weird on scans. Our 24 week ones look lovely aside from one which looks very weird indeed. But then, she spent 20 min looking for the perfect pic not checking out babies’ health! Please don’t worry.
