Sac and yolk low in uterus

Hi I'm new to this so hoping for some positive advice, my partner and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months now finally getting a positive test about 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago I was taken into the early pregnancy unit with pain, they thought as there was no bleeding it may be ectopic but was too early to tell from scan so said I would need to come back a week later however hcg blood were rising so they were hopeful, anyway on Tuesday I was taken to a+e due to bleeding hcg bloods had rose from the previous week so was sent home and told to Come back next morning for scan. So yesterday I went in for the scan where I was told it wasn't ectopic and a sac and yolk could be seen however it was extremely low in the uterus. She asked if I'd had a previous c section which I have but she didnt say what relevance that had, anyway once done she sat me down and said I would need to Come back next week for another scan to confirm miscarriage, she gave me a bag with things in to put whatever blood I pass in. I only bled for the 1 day it has now stopped and I am so confused what to think, I asked her if she was 100% and she just said due to the implantation being so low she was airing on the side of miscarriage and would need to confirm next week. I have tried googling to find some hope but not having much luck so just want to ask here to see if anyone can give me some sort of hope.

You might be better posting this in the pregnancy topic. Good luck.

Hi @Ejs2021I have almost exactly the same happening right now too.
I had bleeding with clots on Sunday (although no pain) and went for a scan Wednesday at the EPU who said that I had the correct size sac and yolk sac but that is was very low in my uterus and I have a very large subchorionic hematoma above it. The scan tech said she was 99.9% sure I would miscarry. I have another scan next Wednesday to confirm miscarriage and then decide what to do. I cannot see myself passing this pregnancy naturally so I think I will go with a d&c if I get that option.
Also I've had a csection before and this will be my 3rd consecutive miscarriage.

Let us know how you get on on Wednesday (I'll do the same too). Have you had any spotting or any cramping? I've had nothing!
PossiblyPertunia · 25/08/2021 11:38

How did you get on @Ejs2021 ? I had no progress and so am waiting for them to confirm I can have surgical management on Friday to remove the pregnancy.

Ejs2021 · 25/08/2021 12:22

@PossiblyPertunia just got back from hospital, I am completely gobsmacked and confused lady was scanning and froze and said baby has a heartbeat, both her and the consultant have told us not to get ahead of ourselves as they are still extremely concerned with the location and that I have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan. I don't know weva to be excited, relieved, scared I just don't know.
