Hi all,
I'm 37 weeks +1 day pregnant, and I've been having some early labour symptoms for a few days now. I've been losing what I believe to be my mucus plug over the past three days (apologies - I know the photo is gross!) - I would say I pass what's in the photo about 3x or more per day, and it increases with each day.
My question is: those of you who have given birth before - does this look like a mucus plug to you? Unfortunately my obstetrician is being a bit dismissive, even though I'm having other symptoms like period-type cramping (mostly at night and early morning), low back pain and some diarrhoea. I'm meant to have a scheduled c-section in two weeks, but I worry baby won't be able to stay in for much longer. Any thoughts?
