I am around 9 weeks pregnant and all my symptoms seem to have disappeared. I was feeling so so sick and now I’m not. My boobs are still slightly sore but no where near as bad as previously. I have still had no contact from anybody after self referring for a midwife. So I just feel I am on my own with this.

Hi,
I lost the few symptoms I had by week 9 mainly sore boobs. I haven’t had morning sickness or anything.
The placenta can start taking over by week 9 so less burden on your hormones.
I was worried about it as I had a miscarriage with my first pregnancy at 8 weeks - alllll my symptoms were still there right up until bleeding.
I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry- I had a mantra of no blood no fuss in my early days.
I’m 31 weeks at the moment and i have had zero symptoms.

Thankyou. I am trying not to worry. I'm hoping everything is ok. I think once I have a scan I will be less worried.

This is really, really normal!

It's very common indeed for women to have convinced themselves that there's no baby there by the 12 week scan, but most of the time the baby is perfectly fine, wriggling about in there!

I suffered with sickness for around 5 weeks and one day at around 9/10 weeks I woke up & felt absolutely fine. I was really worried & rang the Dr, apparently it's quite normal so try not to worry. Congratulations Thanks

When are you due by the way? Have you found the MN antenatal thread for your month? That might make you feel less alone.

I'm still in contact with the wondeful women from mine, best part of a decade later!

I had the same: around 9 weeks my nausea stopped and my breasts weren't as sore. I have convinced myself something went wrong. All my symptoms came back about 4-5 days later. Around 12 weeks my symptoms completely stopped, like I wasn't pregnant at all. I'm 18+4 and have no other symptoms than my bump and an occasional kick from the little one. It's normal for symptoms to come and go in the first trimester, and also to completely dissapear in the second. I know how scary it can be...
