Just wondered if anyone received their second dose in very early pregnancy?

A bit concerned as it's taken so long to get here!

I just had my second jab yesterday and then found out that I'm pregnant today. My friend had the exact same situation with her first jab and found out that she was pregnant the day after it too. She then had her second jab at 14 weeks. She's had scans at 12, 16 and 20 weeks and baby has been fine at them all and developing normally.

@OVO1410 thank you 🥰 I think it's just nerves. Nothing so far has said it's unsafe to get the second jab at any point in pregnancy

I had already decided that if I had fallen pregnant earlier, I would have still had my jab when the time came around. For me personally, I just felt that the known risks of covid during pregnancy outweighed the unknown risks of the jab. Also, in the beginning, the jab wasn't recommended for pregnant women and now it is and that's for a reason 🤷🏼‍♀️ It's all a matter of opinion, whatever decision you make will be the right one for you 😊

I waited until my second trimester for my first and second jab.
