Have you been booked for another growth scan? I had similarish issue and i ended up with pre eclampsia which is why baby had stopped growing. Can they check your bp, urine for protein and run some blood tests?

Ring and speak to your midwife and ask to speak to a consultant about your concerns.

@Dhano21 I don't think the whole thing is very accurate. I was on 3rd centile at 28 weeks when they measured my bump had to go for a scan urgently and the baby was measuring 53rd centile. Then at my 32 week appointment my bump is measuring 20th centile, they've not sent me for another scan tho.

I also know someone who had to go for growth scans because her baby was huge. Measuring 10lbs 8 ounces at the scan so she was told she wouldn't deliver naturally and got booked in for a section. The baby was just over 8lbs.

Are you still feeling baby moving about?

I had growth scans every two weeks and they still got the measurements wrong.

It's good that they check, and of course if they suspect that the baby might be better out than in then of course they'll induce but it's not an exact science...

Weight by scan gets more inaccurate the further along you go. It can be 750g (a pound and a half) out either way. If you’re worried, ask them to do it again, but it’s notoriously inaccurate.

OP I wouldn’t be too worried as baby still is in the normal range, there is also a margin of error in these scans.

It’s good that you’ve got more growth scans for your own peace of mind but to reassure you they don’t really get concerned until baby measures under the 3rd centile.

Did they do arterial dopplers? This is the best indication of any sort of placental issue.

My first was induced at 37 due to being under 10th centile with all arterial dopplers normal but they no longer do this, now under 3rd centile is cause for concern and potential induction at 38 weeks x
