Can anyone help me work out how pregnant I could be?

Hi all,

I normally had quite regular periods but since January they have been very disrupted. I haven't been well and have had several infections and lumps in my armpits as well as the vaccines for Covid earlier this year with the most recent in April.

I last had a wholesome period in June, on the 26th.

2 weeks ago I checked if I was pregnant and I was not. I didn't look for squinty lines but it was white in the light so I threw it in the bin.

I had some spotting the week before and blood at various points in July before I tested and got a negative test.

Last week my friend mentioned to me I was very hormonal and so on Friday night I checked if I was pregnant and I am. Before the test could fill even the test line it was a massive blue strong line. It's been checked 2 more times by me and also by a urine dip at hospital.

I had HG in both of my other pregnancies and on Tuesdsy last week prior to doing a pregnancy test again I went to the doctor to complain about vomiting for two weeks and excessive sweating.

I have HG in full swing which explains the vomiting bit not the excessive sweating. Have worn 6 pyjama tops and 4 trousers changed all pillows turn the duvet around and also swapped it. I am so upset with the sweating the bed is drenched. Can't remember if this is a thing with pregnancy

Can anyone help me understand how pregnant I could be? Thank you and sorry for the long post I just tried to give as much info

Well going off the first day of your last period (June 26th) you are about 7 weeks pregnant.

If the spotting in July was a period (let's say that was July 24th) and you conceived somewhere likely approx 2 weeks after that then you are about 3 weeks pregnant. I think you should go off your last proper period (June 26th) and assume that's it, then when you get your first ultrasound they'll tell you what age the baby is measuring.

@arcof

Thank you for this that's very helpful as I have been asked for a closer estimate and I have said several times I am certain I am less then 20 weeks and less then 8 weeks but more then 4

I am glad to know they can date from a scan

I feel that if I had a period in July around 26 then a test on the 9th would be way too early and even last week, too. so I imagine I could have ovulated late and been a week behind schedule making me 6- 7 weeks like you say

Thank you for taking the time to write back I have been stressed
