help...help! I have just done a clearblue pregnancy test...

there is a strong horizontal line and a faint vertical one...does that mean I am pregnant?

Never used this brand before so am confused....

As long as the test window line is there to say it worked, it does not matter ifthe line is faint or dark as long as you waited the right amount of time and didn't read it later.
I think in the past, my BFNs have turned to BFPs after about 30mins.

thank you ladyoftheflowers....will do another test tomorrow with my first wee (tmi??!) of the morning and see what happens...if i remember correctly the BFP i got with my ds was faint at first

if there is any line at all then you have HCG in your urine. The line will not appear for any other reason. It really is not posible to get a false positive off these type of tests, it is only faint because there is probably only a small amount present at the moment. If you test again in a few days the line will be darker.

I had a faint line too, couldn't sleep all night wondering whether it was anything or not, then went down the supermarket as soon as it opened the next day to buy a digital test... which was much easier to read and was positive.

good idea...will go and get a digital one today.

A bit worried as I have had this bad throat/cold virus thing thats been going aroun and have been taking strepsils and co-codamol all week (until yesterday!) Could that be affecting the result?

Well ladies....the result is in...(I sound like tess daly on strictly - if only I looked like her - sigh)

Just done the test and it was.......positive

These digital ones are fab!!!

Its my little brothers wedding tomorrow so I have to go and start the preparations for looking glamorous (should only take about 14 hours....)

I tend to agree - get a clear blue digital one - I loved the way my one stated pregnant - it makes it so much easier that looking for a line.
