Really low mood in pregnancy?

I'm really suffering with it right now.

I feel so 'meh' all the time and it's getting me down! I have no motivation. What's that about?

It's the worst. I feel like I'm in this weird bubble and can't pop it. I feel really low. Can't be bothered to do anything - I'm usually a complete task master.

It doesn't help that I'm on medication for severe sickness and still feeling a bit sick even still.

Has anyone else felt like this? The symptoms feel really physically too, like my body feels heavy, my head feels heavy. I feel like things keep going wrong (not major things, just this and that etc)

I'm 13 weeks

What's that about? Tired, hormones, your body is doing a lot!

Has anyone else felt like this? I could barely find the energy to lift my body in early pregnant, turns out it had thrown my thyroid right out. Worth speaking to your midwife when you see her, or calling earlier if you get worried. Could be all normal pregnancy stuff or could be something more.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, go easy on yourself. Pregnancy is A LOT. And there's a wonderfully bizarre image in society of women just cracking on as normal.

@ReeseWitherfork Thank you!

I'm hoping that's all it is. I just have this awful cloudy feeling of 'can't be bothered, painfully so'

I was really really unwell with HG sickness with my son but never felt like this. I was still feeling mentally sound if that makes sense

Is your son quite young? You'll probably find parenting has replaced any chance of rest so you're doing significantly more as standard than your first pregnancy too. Especially if you had HG so were limited. Also, you might be struggling with mum guilt when you're not doing a lot which exasperates the 'cant be bothered'.

@ReeseWitherfork I don't think I feel any mum guilt. My son is disabled so it is a difficult experience to say the least!
