Crampy stomach pains

Just a quick question!

I’m 22w5d with my first and I get these intermittent cramps, usually in one place at a time, in my stomach. It’s usually the left or right side, and quite far down near my hips.

Of course I know things are stretching and weakening as the bump grows, but this pain is sort of comparable to that cramp you get in your leg if you stretch too quickly in bed. It’s a sharp, painful feeling that lasts a couple of seconds and always happens when I’m asleep and turning over or moving.

I’m inclined to think that my ligaments and muscles are loosening up, and the sudden movement is causing the pain, but I’m not sure.

I’m not worried at all, there’s no residual pain afterwards and no other issues. Baby is kicking away regularly

Just wondering if anyone else has had this?

I know what your talking about! It's annoying and makes you panic for a second but I do t think there is anything to worry about atleast for me. I know you said your not to worried but I'd call my midwife just to be reassured that's what they are there for Smile
