Accuracy of pregnancy tests

Hi everyone!

I took a test this morning (6 days before my period) and it came back positive. I took another test in the afternoon, after several glasses of water and it came back negative, could it be that I'm not actually pregnant? Or could it be that my urine wasn't strong enough? I'm going to take another test tomorrow morning, just wanted to hear if anyone else has gone through similar circumstances? The test brand was clear blue

Thanks in advance

wait at least a week and test again

False negatives are much more common than false positives - I'd be inclined to believe the positive test.

Afternoon urine was probably too diluted. If your morning urine showed a positive then I would go by that

I've just been out and bought a couple more tests, I'll wait til tomorrow morning then test again and then do one on the day of my missed period to be extra certain, I'm just too impatient Grin

That's exactly what the pharmacist just said, I'll test again tomorrow morning! Eeeeek!
